Different Vista Versions and Features
| Vista comes in eight flavors but
we're only going to talk about four. Out of the four, there's only three
we think you should consider - Home Premium, Business or Ultimate.
The table to the right compares the most common four versions. Home Basic is the most affordable but lacks the Aero interface. Home Premium contains glitzy media features but lacks backup and security features. Business adds backup and security, lacks glitzy media features. Ultimate contains everything in the table plus many useful utilities. We recommend Business for multi-PC businesses, Ultra for PCs that combine business and entertainment. |
